Beaverly Fire Rescue has kicked off the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society’s (PGHPCS) holiday fundraiser with a $2,800 donation.

For over five years, Beaverly Volunteer Fire Fighters have kicked-off the PGHPCS’s Give-a-Gift campaign with their donation.

The Christmas Give-a-Gift campaign starts today (Dec. 13) and runs through to Dec. 31, 2021 where the organization is asking for the community’s support in donations towards the costs of feeding guests and families at the Rotary Hospice House.

The cost of feeding guests and families at the Hospice House is over $28,000 a year which works out to $75 per day or $525 per week.  PCHPCS’s goal is to raise enough donations to purchase groceries for a full year.

Donations can be made in-person at the PGHPCS admin office or online.
