Prince George gas station drops under a buck a litre

Want to fill up your tank without breaking the bank?

While gas prices have dropped a great deal in B.C., Prince George is enjoying some of the lowest prices in the province.

Tano Fuel, located at 1040 Whenun Rd. in Shelley, is offering gas for 99.9 cents per litre.

Prince George Costco (2555 Range Rd.) is offering gas at 102.9 cents per litre. 

The Fraser Lake Esso is also offering gas at 102.9 cents per litre.

After that, the rest of the top ten lowest prices are showing 106.9 cents per litre.

Gasbuddy.com, a travel navigation app, allows users to locate the cheapest gas anywhere in North America.

On Tuesday (March 10), Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, formerly of GasBuddy.com, predicted that gas prices would drop a whopping eight to 10 cents in a single day on Wednesday (March 11)

Gas prices are also falling across the rest of Canada, with many stations selling well below $1 a litre as of March 11.
