The Habitat for Humanity's 3rd annual Bathtub Race gives new meaning to the term running a bath.

The fun-filled event returns Thursday, Sept. 16 at Bartle and Gibson, 1027A Eastern St.

It costs $50, plus a silent auction item to enter a tub in the race. Entries are limited to 16 teams.

This year's goal is to raise $5,000 for Habitat Prince George. The organization is currently building a home for one deserving family.

Volunteers are needed to flip burgers, sweep the race track, provide mechanical assistance for the tubs, among other things. Cheques can be made out to Habitat for Humanity Canada and forwarded to Merv at Bartle and Gibson.

To register or volunteer at the bathtub race, call 250-562-5505.
