Prince George RCMP are investigating an alleged attack with a baseball bat on the weekend.
Saturday at about 1:30 p.m. RCMP were called to the Venice Place apartments (401-1438 Queensway) after receiving multiple calls about an assault with a baseball bat.
One resident of the building said when he went out around 2 p.m. there was an ambulance and "half a dozen" police cars in front of the apartment block.
One man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening head and back injuries, Prince George spokesperson Const. Craig Douglass said.
Police are investigating the incident and are expected to provide more information today, Douglass added.
