Ban on open burning to be lifted

Open burning will once again be allowed throughout the enter Prince George Fire Centre. It will be lifted effective Wednesday at noon, B.C. Wildfire Service said. Concurrently, a ban will also be lifted on the use of burn barrels or burn cages.

Open burning will once again be allowed throughout the enter Prince George Fire Centre.

It will be lifted effective Wednesday at noon, B.C. Wildfire Service said.

Concurrently, a ban will also be lifted on the use of burn barrels or burn cages. sky lanterns, exploding targets, air curtain burners and fireworks.

The last remaining campfire ban in the region was lifted on Sept. 6.
