Building Futures is a partnership with major companies such as Rona, Canadian Tire, Art Knapp, General Motors, and more. It's designed to ease the transition from addiction and homelessness back into the work force.

"It takes the whole community to solve the problems of addiction and homelessness in our region," said Executive Director, Marsahall Smith, "These companies have stepped forward and opened their doors saying 'we take this problem seriously and we're going to do something about it.'"

Finding meaningful employment can be one of the most challenging aspects of early recovery for addicts. Most are grateful for the opportunity they have to restore their lives, but require employers who are aware of and understand the challenges they face.

The Baldy Hughes Therapeutic Community and Addiction Treatment Centre provides abstinence based, multi-phasic residential addiction treatment and long term recovery to British Columbians suffering from addiction disorders. It's located 26 km south west of Prince George.
