Police are looking for the public's help in an ongoing investigation from an end-of-December Bait Car theft.
According to the Prince George RCMP, at 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 31 an unknown man entered a Bait Car parked off of Domano Boulevard.
Investigators haven't yet identified the suspect described as a thin Caucasian male, between 18 and 28 years of age with short, dark hair.
The RCMP's Bait Car program includes valuables placed in the vehicles such as smartphones, computers, sunglasses, tools and credit cards to assist in the arrest of people that steal from vehicles.
Police would like to remind vehicle owners to always lock their doors, never leave valuable in sight, to park in well-lit areas, use an anti-theft device and to never leave a spare key in the vehicle.
Anyone with information that could help the police identify the suspect are asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-330 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca, or Text-A-Tip to 274637 using keyword "pgtips."
