A 32-year-old man is in custody suspected of assaulting a man and woman in a home on Upper Fraser Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Travis Andrew Schwartz has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and one count of willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
He will remain in custody until at least April 8 when a bail hearing is scheduled for provincial court.
RCMP said they were called to the scene at about 3:40 p.m. and found the man and woman with serious injures. Both were transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
All three are known to each other, police said.
