Assault outside convenience store leaves young female seriously injured

RCMP release surveillance camera images of two suspects and a "person of interest"

Prince George RCMP have released images of two suspects and one "person of interest" in relation to an assault last Friday night that left the victim seriously injured.

Police were called shortly after 10 p.m. to the 7-11 convenience store on 20th Avenue where they found the young female lying on the ground. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Based on images obtained from surveillance cameras, both suspects appear to be female - one wearing a black coat, a white tank top and a pink skirt and the other a black or blue coat, with a white and blue jacket tied around her waist and black pants.

Police are also looking for a man who may have information important to the investigation. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with red stripes on the front, a camouflage baseball hat and black pants.

RCMP are also asking anyone else who may have been in and around the business at the time of the assault or who has information about what occurred that night to call the detachment at 250-561-3300.

Tips can also be left anonymously at Crime Stoppers, 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca (English only).

You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers. If you provide information that leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
