An alleged parking lot drug deal netted three arrests this past weekend.

Members of Prince George RCMP's Crime Reduction team took three men into custody June 21 after they observed what appeared to be a drug transaction in the parking lot of a Central Street restaurant.

According to police, the 45-year-old driver was found in possession of more than an ounce of crack cocaine, more than an ounce of methamphetamine and numerous pre-packaged flaps of heroin and the 22-year-old passenger was found in possession of a significant amount of cash. A third man - a Quesnel native living in Prince George - was found inside the restaurant with a large amount of cash and five cell phones.

Two men were released on a promise to appear and police will be forwarding a number of drug-related charges to federal Crown counsel while the third was released without charge. However, charges may be pending after further investigation.
