For a second time in as many months, a ‘violent’ priority offender is being sought by Prince George RCMP.

Colin Michaud Durrand is now believed to be an increased risk to public safety, Mounties explain in a news release this morning (Sept. 23), and more arrest warrants have been issued to his name stemming from four separate incidents occurring since summer of 2019.

This time, the 29-year-old is wanted on the following charges approved by the BC Prosecution Service:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Obstructing a peace officer
  • Fail to comply with probation
  • Fail to comply with release order

Durrand was also wanted by RCMP on July 29 for similar charges, including all four of the above.

He was later arrested on Aug. 11 at a home near Connaught Hill Park in a drug-trafficking investigation, along with two other people.

Durrand is described as:

  • White
  • 6’2”
  • 168 pounds
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes

Police say Durrand was believed to be living in Hixon.

As he has a history of violence, the public is asked to not approach him if found.

If you do see him, or if you have information on Durrand’s whereabouts, you’re asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300, anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or go online to
