Organized labour plans to put more heat on Prince George's provincial Liberals.
The Prince George and District Labour Council is organizing an anti-HST rally in front of the office of Prince George North and Minister of Forests Pat Bell.
The rally is set for next Monday, April 26, between 5-6 p.m. at 103-770 Central Street, across from the Spruceland Shopping Center.
A poster for the event claims only seven B.C. Liberal MLAs would need to break ranks and vote against the HST to defeat it.
It calls on Bell and Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond to "stand by their constituents and stop this unfair tax shift."
