Another suspicious white truck being investigated by Prince George RCMP

A man once again told a child to get in his truck

Mounties in Prince George are investigating another incident involving a child and a white truck. 

Police say this morning (March 19) at approximately 9:52 a.m., it was reported a suspicious vehicle approached a child walking near North Tabor Boulevard and Ospika Boulevard. 

The driver told the child to get in the truck, which the child refused and immediately went to safety. 

There are two similar incidents that have happened in Prince George involving a man and a similar description of the truck. 

Police say one incident happened on Feb. 19 where a man followed a child for several blocks by Heritage Elementary. 

Another one was reported on Feb. 25, where a man approached a child near the same school and tried to get them in the vehicle. 

The male is described as: 

  • White male
  • Middle-aged
  • Short dark hair
  • Short dark beard with spots of grey, roughly one inch in length

The vehicle is described as: 

  • White four-door truck
  • Black tonneau cover
  • Tinted back windows
  • Silver bumper
  • The vehicle was quite dirty at the time of the incident
