Another Prince George WestJet flight flagged for COVID-19 exposure by BCCDC

Passengers on flight 3287 on March 31 are asked to monitor for symptoms

The BCCDC has flagged another Prince George-bound WestJet flight for COVID-19 exposure. 

The BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) says those on WestJet flight 3287 with service from Vancouver on March 31 should self-monitor for symptoms. 

Those seated in rows 12 to 18 are potentially impacted as those passengers may have come into contact with someone who recently tested positive for the virus.

There have now been eight flights involving YXS that have been flagged since the start of the year. 

  • Jan. 1 = WestJet flight 3282 from Prince George to Vancouver - rows three to nine
  • Feb. 28 = WestJet flight 3287 from Vancouver to Prince George - rows 14 to 20
  • March 6 = Air Canada/Jazz flight 8209 from Vancouver to Prince George - rows three to nine
  • March 26 = Air Canada/Jazz flight 8212 from Prince George to Vancouver - rows 10 to 16
  • March 27 = WestJet flight 3287 from Vancouver to Prince George - rows four to 10
  • March 28 = Air Canada flight 8211 from Vancouver to Prince George - rows one to five
  • March 31 = WestJet flight 3287 from Vancouver to Prince George - rows 12-18
  • April 1 = WestJet flight 3290 from Prince George to Vancouver - rows one to seven

Since March 27, 2020, passengers seated near a case of COVID-19 that was recognized after arrival are no longer being directly notified of their potential exposure, but are asked to check online and monitor their symptoms.
