A woman faces four criminal charges for allegedly going on an erratic and dangerous drive in a stolen vehicle last year.

Counts of dangerous driving, driving while impaired, motor vehicle theft and possessing stolen property over $5,000 have been approved against Callie-Anne Lyn Dasilva, 29, according to court records.

The charges stem from a May 18, 2021 incident when Prince George RCMP received multiple 911 calls about a pickup truck progressing at irregular speeds, swerving across the road and almost hitting several vehicles while making its way along streets in the Bowl area and towards College Heights before police used their vehicles to stop the truck at the junction of Highways 16 and 97.

Dasilva is known to police and the courts. She is schedule to make a first appearance in Prince George provincial court on June 22.
