The man alleged to have used an axe and a hammer in two robberies last week appeared in court on Thursday.
Richard B. Forrest, 40, is alleged to have entered a home on Upland Street and threatened a man with an axe on last Monday, March 1 and to have threatened staff at Value Village with a hammer before smashing a display case and making off with several items on the night of Wednesday, March 3.
