An air quality advisory has been cancelled for Prince George.
The advisory was first issued Wednesday morning by the Ministry of the Environment and Northern Health due to high levels of fine particulate. It was called off Thursday morning.
Under the city's Free Fair for Clean Air program, public transit is free until midnight.
"This is important because it ensures that anyone going to work who left their car at home to take advantage of the free ride, will still have a free ride after work," said city parks, transit and solid waste manager Dave Bradshaw, in a press release.
