AiMHi, Prince George's Community Living Association, along with the National Film Board, are hosting a special screening of Lay Down Your Heart on Monday, October 16 at 7 p.m. at the PG Playhouse.
According to the NFB, the film presents “an intimate look into the mind of Niall McNeil, an artist and performer with Down syndrome, and his unique chosen family.”
Tickets will be available at the door and by donation.
There is also a flag raising today (Tuesday, Oct. 3) at 10 a.m. for Community Living on the steps of City Hall.
