An organization dedicated to defending Canadians' constitutional freedoms through "education, communication and litigation" has come to the aid of a Prince George man embroiled in a prolonged and high-profile battle with the federal government's tax collector.

The Canadian Constitution Foundation has retained a lawyer to argue on behalf of Irvin Leroux, 65, when a three-day hearing into a Canada Revenue Agency application to dismiss allegations against the agency is held next week in Prince George supreme court.
