Active cases of COVID 19 stood at 16 in Northern Health as of Tuesday, according to the B.C. Centre for Disease Control, down three from the day before.
The decline was despite an increase of two new cases in the region as five recoveries offset rise.
However, one person was in intensive care compared to zero on Monday.
Province-wide, two more deaths were reported, bringing the toll from the pandemic to 244 - including three in Northern Health.
There were 1,384 active cases reported, up by 31, while a further 3,089 were under active public health monitoring as a result of identified exposure to known cases, up 79.
As well, 71 were hospitalized, up by five, and 16 of were in intensive care, the same as on Monday.
"People are doing the right thing and, as evidenced by the latest modelling data, individual actions are making a difference for all of us to stay safe and strong in the face of COVID-19," provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and deputy health minister Stephen Brown said in a joint statement.
"There is no question that what we do today directly influences the well-being of our communities tomorrow, so let's continue to do our part to protect ourselves and each other – each day and every day."
