The no-go zone surrounding the Chelaslie River forest fire, southwest of Prince George, has been reduced.
The public now has access to areas south of the fire although forested areas north of the Kluskus Forest Service Road from Chedakuz Creek (km 118) to Fawnie Creek (km 141) and then north of Fawnie Creek to the Entiako Provincial Park boundary remain restricted.
As of midday Monday, the fire stood at 133,100 hectares and was 75 per cent contained.
The reduction came into effect on Friday afternoon.
