You won't be seeing the BC Natural Resources Forum (BCNRF) in person this year.

The organizing committee has announced that the annual Prince George event, scheduled for Jan. 26 to 28, 2021, has been moved online for the first time in program history.

"This change in format for the 2021 event has been made to ensure the health and safety of all participants and in light of concerns and restrictions regarding COVID-19," a statement reads.

The upcoming theme is set to be Building and Maintaining a Resilient Natural Resource Sector in both the province and Canada, and how to prosper in the new reality due to COVID-19 and uncertain economy.

BCNRF program details, as a whole, are still under development with more to be made public in the weeks to come.
