The Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum hosted the Pumpkin Express Halloween event Sunday, providing spooky yet family-friendly fun for all.
Admission to the event was free with a nonperishable food donation and the cupboard was full after more than 900 visitors attended. Sunday morning's rain got things off to a slow start but things soon improved with the weather.
Halloweeners were able to take a storywalk stroll, take a ride on the Pumpkin Express, make jellyfish and bats at the craft table and pick up a free pumpkin.
