The BC Old Time Fiddlers are holding a dance tonight from 8 p.m. to midnight at the PG Elks Community Hall, 663 Douglas St. Everyone is welcome to enjoy some toe-tapping live music to swing your partner.

UNBC Musical Productions presents The Last Five Years at Theatre Northwest from Friday to Sunday and then again next Friday to Sunday with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show beginning at 7 p.m.

Rock the Rink, Battle of the Blades, which takes to the ice on Oct. 12 at CN Centre, has a special ticket offer starting Thursday. Tickets are going on sale for $29 each from Thursday to Sunday and applies to limited seating.

Chase Pagett will be bringing his popular one-man play to Sunset Theatre in Wells on Sept. 19 and 20. The show, 6 Guitars, was written by Pagett and Jay Hopkins, and features a mix of music, comedy and characters.

A Prince George-based folk band and a Canmore-based singer-songwriter duo have joined forces and will be touring northwest B.C.

B.C. Culture Days will be bring a pair of family events to the city from Sept. 27 to 29. The province-wide celebration of the arts is marking its 10th anniversary this year.
