The first annual Northern BC SIP Wine Festival wraps up today with events across the city.
The Prince George Cougars host Hockey & Wine tonight at 7 p.m at CN Centre. As part of the game, CN Centre and Eurest Foods will offer wine with a distinctive hockey theme. Special offerings will include selections from Wayne Gretzky Estates Winery - Great Wines from the Great One. The wines of Wayne Gretzky Okanagan have been crafted in celebration of the diversity and excellence of vineyards in B.C.
The Theatre Northwest Wine Festival offers samples from dozens of different wineries across British Columbia, the best the province has to offer. Alongside these are hors d'ouvres from Prince George's finest restaurants. There are two events, an afternoon and an evening, the latter already being sold out.
