Elder Citizens Recreation Association drama club presents March Madness Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. at 1692 Tenth Avenue. Tickets are at the ECRA office for $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. For more information call 250-561-9381.

PG Legion Dance every Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight at 1335 Seventh Avenue. There is a live band at each dance and the dance floor is open for those who wish to show off their moves. There is a minimum $5 entry charge. For more information call 250-562-1292.

There's a Wing Ding taking place Friday at Coach's Corner featuring Stages, a local two-man band who will be appearing during this event.

The Prince George Traveling World Community Film Festival is returning this month. The festival runs until March 27. This year's collection of films is fantastic and festival schedules and tickets are now available at Books & Co.

Party for a Cure is a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society Saturday at the Coast Inn with live music provided by Aimee Brekkaas, a piano playing singer, Rockers Revolution and PG Entertainment DJ Chris Blackier. There is a buffet dinner and silent auction. Tickets are at the Coast Inn for $35 each.

I'm Getting Murdered in the Morning is presented by the UNBC Drama Club Friday and Saturday, doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7. Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults and are at Books & Co., 1685 Third Avenue and the NUGSS office at UNBC.

Open Mic Night is held at Coach's Corner every Saturday at 9 p.m. and all types of entertainers are welcome, including poets, comedians, DJs, singers and bands. Entertainers are encouraged to register at 8:30. The stage is set with two microphones, two speakers and a mixer. All musicians are asked to bring their own instruments. All performers are presented with a Coach's gift certificate in appreciation for their entertainment.
