Eagle Transforming: The Prints of Robert Davidson, circulated by the Vancouver Art Gallery, will be presented during the opening reception at the Two Rivers Art Gallery Thursday beginning with the Haida artist's talk at 7:30 p.m. followed by an After Party with refreshments at 8:30 p.m. The show goes until April 3. Everyone is welcome to attend and seating is first come, first served.

Kenny Blues Boss Wayne will be performing at the Legion, 1335 Seventh Avenue, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Tickets are $30 and are on sale at Books & Co. and at the Legion bar.

Coldsnap Festival presents Adonis Puentes Band Friday at 8 p.m. at the Ramada. Adonis still calls Cuba home and is carrying on the tradition of Sonero singers. Come to dance. Tickets are $26 at Books & Co., Studio 2880 and UNBC bookstore.

Share the Beat Drum Circle workshop will be held Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Fire Pit Cultural Drop In Centre, 1114 Third Avenue, with Adonis Puentes Band, Alan O'Reilly, Granville Johnson and other master drummers. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Open Minds with Open Mic will take place Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Friends of YAP (Youth Around Prince), 1160 Seventh Avenue, with The Good Lovelies and April Verch. To sign up for this free workshop call Brian 250-565-6278.

Coldsnap Festival show Bluegrass and Newgrass features the talents of the Good Lovelies and the April Verch Band Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Prince George Playhouse. The Good Lovelies, Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough and Sue Passmore, are sharp, sassy, funny and building a following across Canada. And when April Verch trades her fiddle for the rhythmic art of step-dancing, the band takes on the sound of the old lumber camp halls where those without instruments created rhythms with their feet. Parks Talks, part one, Treasures of the Parks Canada Athapaskann, begins Saturday at 2 p.m. at Exploration Place. This is a new series of several new interpretive programs about exciting research, findings, history and information from our national parks. The first program details some of the most valuable and fascinating artifacts from the Athapaskan Collection, a collection in storage at the Exploration Place archives before eventual repatriation back to the Fort St. James/Nak'azdli region.
