Studio 2880 continues to foster local talent by offering a new art program to Northern BC residents.

In an effort to continue to foster local talent, Studio 2880 is launching a new art program aimed at enriching the community's creative spirit.

Studio 2880 offers a series of paint workshops beginning later this month and a specially curated seniors paint club in May.

The paint workshops, led by an experienced artist, will offer participants of all skill levels the opportunity to explore different techniques, experiment with various mediums, and unleash their creativity in a supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or a seasoned artist seeking inspiration, these workshops promise to ignite your passion for painting.

Studio 2880 is also offering the seniors paint club, an accessible space for older adults to come together, socialize, and engage in the therapeutic benefits of art.

Led by a professional instructor, members of the club will have the chance to connect with peers, share their knowledge, and create beautiful artwork in a relaxed setting.

$20 per session includes supplies and tax.

"We are thrilled to unveil these new programs as part of our ongoing commitment to arts education and community building," Eli Klasner, executive director of Studio 2880, said. "Our goal is to provide a welcoming space where individuals of all ages can discover the joy of painting and build lasting connections through art."
