Regional writers put pen to paper

The Central Interior Regional Arts Council is holding a writing contest, and any resident of the Central Interior region of B.C. is eligible to enter.

The Central Interior Regional Arts Council is holding a writing contest, and any resident of the Central Interior region of B.C. is eligible to enter.

Entries will be judged by a panel of experts and the winner will receive an all-fees-paid place at the Island Mountain Arts Writing without Borders course run by Susan Musgrave from July 16 to 19 in Wells.

Accommodation in Wells will be provided.

Entry requirements:

(a) Work may be fiction (short story) or non-fiction (memoir or essay)

(b) Work must be no longer than 3,000 words.

(c) Work must not have been previously published.

Entries must be accompanied by a single cover sheet giving the author's name and contact

information.

Piece must be submitted electronically to the CIRAC executive director at tschoen@lincsat.com before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8.
