Quantum Popcorn, movies that inspire, presented by the YES Alliance, will hold its season finale Friday at 7 p.m.

After three months of voting, the Quantum Popcorn audience picked Peaceful Warrior as their viewer's choice.

Each ticket will admit two people to the special event, which takes place at UNBC's Canfor Theatre.

The movie is based on the autobiographical book by Dan Millman called Way of the Peaceful Warrior: A Book that Changes Lives. The movie tells the story of Millman's life as a promising young gymnast who is injured in a motorcycle accident and told he will never compete again.

Socrates, his mentor, helps him to heal and transform him - body, mind and spirit. Millman is ultimately able to achieve success on his terms and become a fulfilled person.

Scott Mechlowicz is Millman and Nick Nolte is Socrates.

Following the movie there will be an interactive discussion with a guest panel including Sufey Chen, award winning and inspiring youth speaker and community leader; Sarah Dowling a Buddhist meditation teacher; Cory Watts, a Prince George Roadrunners athlete, Robert Quibell a kinesiologist, and Marnie Bosmann a muscular rehabilitation therapist.

There is also a grand prize draw, door prizes, free popcorn, special gifts for the whole audience and information about season two of Quantum Popcorn.

Tickets are all two for one $12 for students, $14 for general admission. For more information visit www.fearlesslivingpg.com.
