Theatre NorthWest is offering Prince George residents a chance to learn the how-to of creating a 10-minute play during a new program, Play Writing for Artists.

If you’ve always thought your idea could be brilliantly played out on a stage check out this rare opportunity.

Theatre NorthWest is offering an eight-week introductory program for fledgling playwrights.

For artists, creators and writers alike those wishing to take on the challenge will write a draft of their own 10-minute play to be read on the Theatre NorthWest stage.

The program that explores storytelling and how to stage it goes every Monday from March 28 to May 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., May 16 to 27 for remote mentorship and Saturday May 28 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Registration is kept accessible for those in need at $20, for all others $100.

Theatre NorthWest said it’s grateful for those in the community who have the means to pay the full price in support of keeping programs financially accessible. If $20 is a barrier email [email protected].
