Fans descended on the CN Centre last weekend for the return of Northern Fancon.
Along with vendors, costumes, displays and more, the weekend convention featured celebrity sessions with Sean Gunn from Guardians of the Galaxy and Gilmore Girls, Scott Patterson from Gilmore Girls, Reka Sharma from Yellowjackets and Battlestar Galactica, Michael Hogan from Battlestar Galactica, and Keilani Rose (from Prince George) and Blair Lamora who star in Shoresy.
One highlight was an onstage interview with actor Michael Hogan, who spoke to Fancon founder Norm Coyne in front of an audience. Coyne is producing a documentary about the actor.
Hogan, probably best known for his role as Colonel Saul Tigh of Battlestar Galactica, suffered a brain injury after a fall in 2020 which has resulted in paralysis of his left side, memory loss, and dysphagia.
