One More Girl is set to inject enthusiasm into crowds gathering to watch a trio of great bands on Friday night at CN Centre at 7 p.m.

The sister duo, Britt and Carly McKillop, take the stage along with George Canyon and Toby Keith for a night of foot stomping fun.

The CCMA's 2010 Rising Star award recipient, One More Girl, is a Vancouver sister duo that will be showcasing their top singles from their 2009 album, Big Sky.

The McKillops were in Prince George last December when they appeared on stage with Tom Jackson during a fundraiser for the Salvation Army.

"We're really excited to come back to Prince George - it was just so beautiful and we had so much fun, we can't wait to come back with Toby Keith," said Carly.

"We think it's going to be a great show - it's obviously a pretty big show for us. It's always really cool to get in front of an audience that big and get them warmed up for the big acts."

Carly and Britt have not met Keith yet but they say they are looking forward to it. One More Girl swept the B.C. Country Music awards last October by taking Single of the Year, Group or Duo of the Year, Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

The duo grew up singing.

"We've been singing with each other our whole lives," said Carly. "The blend is pretty natural for us at this point. We just really know each other's voices better than anything. We have just become aware of each other and it's very easy to work together cause we've been doing it forever."

Every now and then the duo will switch off and take a different part or do something different but more often than not they know what works for them and work within their range, Carly added.

The girls have been writing for a few years now and started co-writing with other artists a couple of years ago. On their album, Big Sky, One More Girl wrote Once Upon A Time.

"We feel a lot more comfortable with our own songs and we're in the midst of making a new album and the majority of the songs on that album [as yet untitled] will be written by us as we've taken the last couple of years to hone our skills," Carly said. "We're ready to share that with everybody."

The album could be out early summer, nothing's confirmed right now, Carly added.

The show at CN Centre will be a lot of fun.

"Britt and I are doing a stripped-down version of our show," said Carly. "But hopefully the audience will recognize a couple of the songs from the radio and we've got a couple of new ones we'll sing as well."

Britt said One More Girl will definitely talk about a new song before they perform it in front of a live audience.

"There's always a little story behind each song, especially the ones we've written," said Britt. "We always give the audience an introduction to let them know what the new song is about. You want to make the audience feel like it's a personal experience for everyone."

One little-known secret about Britt and Carly is that they are self-admitted Friends fanatics.

"Half of what we say is direct quotes from the television show," said Carly. "People constantly think we're super-weird because we're always speaking in quotes and at the same time but we think it's funny!"

It's the ultimate inside joke.

"That's our whole life," Carly laughed.

Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets.
