Method Dance Society is premiering "Conversations in Six," an innovative  contemporary dance showcase that serves as a bridge between Method Dance Society and contemporary choreographers hailing from across Canada.

This series is scheduled to take place at the Prince George Playhouse on Nov. 9 and 10, and organizers say "Conversations in Six" stands as a testament to the diversity, creativity, and inclusivity of contemporary dance.

The showcase will bring together visionary choreographers including Cai Glover, Anya Saugstad, Amber Downie-Back, Gwynn Bilski, Giselle Liu, and Melissa McCracken.

At the heart of this showcase is the spotlight on choreographers from rural backgrounds. Glover, McCracken, Bilski and Downie-Back are from Prince George, Liu is from Prince Rupert and Saugstad is from Bowen Island.

These choreographers are known across Canada for their exceptional choreography and innovative creativity.

The collaboration with Method Dance Society in "Conversations in Six" aims to facilitate a transformative dialogue that transcends geographic boundaries and enriches the dance community.

“'Conversations in Six' captures our commitment to fostering connections within the dance community and promoting collaboration,” said Artistic Director Shelby Richardson underlining the significance of this collaboration.

“This series is an embodiment of the power of dance to create bridges and foster lasting relationships not only in Prince George, but across the country."

‘Conversations in Six’ will take place at the Prince George Playhouse. Audiences can expect a mesmerizing blend of contemporary dance forms, skillfully woven together to create a tapestry of artistic expression that speaks directly to the soul of British Columbia.
