The seventh annual Taste of India - a Celebration of Cuisine, Culture & Community - will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Prince George Yellowhead at the Civic Centre on Feb. 18.
The evening begins with cocktails and includes silent and live auctions, an authentic Indian dinner and a variety of cultural entertainment.
More than $325,000 has been raised during past events that goes to local and international Rotary projects including meals programs within School District 57, the Kordyban Cancer Lodge, the Elizabeth Fry Society's Amber House and the Family Resource Centre preschool, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Rotary Clubhouse phase 1 and 2, as well as the Amrelli, India education and sanitation project, a dining hall in Mgutwa, Tanzania and Polio Plus, Rotary International's polio eradication project.
This year's funds will go to renovations at AiMhi and the Girl Guide camp at Nukko Lake, as well as international programs like an Essential Surgical Skills Course, providing supplies needed to teach the course in Lacor, Uganda and a well for clean drinking water.

Tickets are $100 per person or $1,000 for a table of 10.
