Alive and well in Prince George the Gypsy Entertainment Group offers in-person comedy shows and has done so through most of the pandemic, adhering to all ongoing safety protocols.
Gypsy’s next showcase is called Off the Rails featuring stand-up comedian Brett Forte on Sept. 24 and 25 at the Sandman Signature banquet room.
Opening acts will be local comedians while Dom Oliveira of the Gypsy Entertainment Group who uses the comedic stylings of story telling will be the MC.
“Even though we’re going through all these difficult times, we’re still going to persevere and we want people to know that we’re still here,” Oliveira said. “We’re going to follow the rules and we want people to know that they’re safe in that environment.”
Every other week on Thursdays and Fridays this fall Oliveira said there will be a new show to go see.
The Banquet Room offers socially distanced tables where people can see the show while enjoying some food and beverages.
