One of B.C.'s big-city buzz bands has roots in the most rural corners of the Prince George region.
Kill Matilda is growling out a name in Vancouver's vibrant pop-punk/metal scene. They are a four-piece group fronted by Marlene Lau and Dusty Chipura, the latter well known from the Prince George indie music underground. She moved to Vancouver in 2005 and climbed a ladder of music projects to become one of the Lower Mainland's rising stars in the hard rock scene.
