Jai Ho music group of Prince George presents a musical evening with all time favourites of Geet and Ghazals at the Prince George Playhouse Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Two guitar players and one Tabla drum player are coming from Vancouver, the rest of the performers will be local musicians and artists, including Dr. Zafar Iqbal and Sarabjit Parmar.
There will be some Indian classical and folk dances as well.
One of the biggest festivals of India takes place this weekend. It is the Festival of Colours called Holi.
In India on Sunday people will be literally throwing coloured powder and water at each other, followed by food and festivities. It is one of the most fun festivals for all ages, so expect some surprises for Holi at the Prince George event.
