It's a country comeback at CN Centre.
An encore performance by Florida Georgia Line has been announced for Nov. 16 with special guests Chris Lane (noted for the singles Fix, Let's Ride and Broken Windshield View) and Granger Smith (top singles include If The Boot Fits, Backroad Song, Bury Me In Bluejeans, and many more).
Lane was also among the opening acts when FloGo was last in Prince George.
That concert happened in spring of 2014.
The FGL phenomenon is led by frontmen Brian Kelley (from Ormond Beach, Florida) and Tyler Hubbard (from Monroe, Georgia).
The duo has cranked out hits that can only be described as mega.
Their song Cruise, for example, came out in 2012 and two years later was still the best-selling digital country song of all time in the United States.
Other chart-toppers include Round Here, Get Your Shine On, Stay, Dirt, Sun Daze, Sippin' On Fire, their recent number-one smash is Confession, and their duet with Luke Bryan called This Is How We Roll got to number two.
Their most recent single is H.O.L.Y. (an acronym for High On Loving You).
It was released on April 28 to lead off their new album Dig Your Roots, and went straight to top spot on the Billboard chart for country, and also cracked the
No. 20 position on the overall Billboard Hot 100 chart, and it's still active in the marketplace.
Tickets to the CN Centre show go on sale on May 27 at 10 a.m. at the venue's box office or online at www.LiveNation.com.
Price range from approximately $50-$75.
