Two Rivers Gallery will hold its annual Artisans' Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local artisans will be at the gallery selling their handmade work in the lobby and Rustad Galleria. There is no admission fee and people are encouraged to enjoy a coffee and support local artists.

Maureen Washington & Daniel Cook will present their new CD Here We Go Again and invite everyone to celebrate at a dance party Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Legion. The duo have co-written an album filled with a little bit of squeeze and a whole lot of punch. Washington and Cook heat up the Legion with special guests Curtis Abriel, Sean Smith, and Washington's older brother Calvin Washington keeping the beat on drums. Come out and celebrate Maureen's second album this year, get your groove on, and pick up an early Christmas gift for yourself. Tickets are $20 and are available at Books & Co. or at the door.

The run has been extended for Theatre North West's Ivor Johnson's Neighbours from Dec. 7 to 9. This play is set in a tiny town in Nova Scotia in the 1950s. The show is part Corner Gas, part Trailer Park Boys, part Beachcombers, and part Peyton Place. Ivor Johnson, the nicest guy ever, presides over his neighbourhood of lovable misfits and their endless adventures. Tickets are at Books & Co., 1685 3rd Avenue or by phone at 250-614-0039.

The Prince George Indoor Farmers' Market is open every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of 3rd Avenue and George Street in the old Morrison's Men's Wear building. There are local vendors selling meat, produce, arts and crafts, jewelry and much more.

Out of Alba will present a Christmas CD release party Saturday at 8 p.m. at ArtSpace, 1685 3rd Avenue. Nithi Sessions, the new CD, offers a powerful eclectic mix of sound, including Celtic songs with original and traditional instrumentals. Tickets are available in advance at Books & Co., 1685 3rd Avenue.

Prince George secondary school presents Oliver Twist a drama by Robert Thomas Noll produced with special permission with Dramatic Publishing Co. The play will be presented at Vanier Hall Dec. 7 to 11 at 7 p.m. with matinees at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 to 11. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. The play is rated PG for language.
