Tis the season to explore the incredible craft fairs in and around Prince George
There's still time to discover those one-of-a-kind gifts for the holiday season.
Here’s some craft fairs that are coming up:
Pottery Sale sees Carlson Pottery studio students and members hosting a sale on Friday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. and Sunday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check out all kinds of pottery, some of which may be Christmas themed, including mugs, bowls, plates and sculptures at 3955 John Hart Highway, the old Hart Highway elementary school. There’s plenty of parking.
Christmas Bazaar at St. George’s Church, 2414 Vanier Drive, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring frozen perogies, cabbage rolls, traditional baked good with a hot lunch available.
Fibre Arts Guild Annual Sale on Dec. 9 and 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Prince George Fibre Arts Guild Room at Studio 2880, 2880-15th Avenue on the second floor. There are many unique items for sale including spinning, knitting, weaving and felting.
P&R third annual Christmas Market at 12800 Salmon Valley Road, goes Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. where people can visit with Santa, check out the local vendors, enjoy a hayride, food and drink and a bonfire to stay warm.
Winterfest Christmas Market goes Dec. 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Prince George Civic Centre, where there are already more than 120 vendors registered for the event including those who have country decor, macrame, health and wellness items, soaps, ceramics, chocolates, bath products, blacksmithed items, knits, fudge, candles, cookies and confections.
