Creative residents and organizations looking to initiate or sustain great ideas, events or projects that improve and enhance the city can now apply for a myPG Community Grant.
Deadline is March 15.
“This grant assists non-profit groups and other community organizations to develop and implement innovative activities, projects, and events that contribute to making Prince George a great community,” Doug Hofstede, Community Coordinator with the City of Prince George, said. “Eligible initiatives can be large or small. Grants typically range from $2500 to $8000, but can be as small as $900. Activities and projects should be accessible to residents of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and income levels.”
Applications will be evaluated based on alignment with the following criteria:
Increasing community pride
Encouraging a safe community
Providing social connections for citizens
Encouraging physical activity
Providing opportunities for involvement in arts and culture
Ensuring equity and inclusion
