Brent Butt headlines a night of comedy at the CN Centre on Sept. 25.

The CN Centre is turning 30, and as part of its birthday celebration, it's inviting four comedians to the 30 Years of Laughs event on Sept. 25.

Comedians include special guests Chris Griffin and Katie-Ellen Humphries, with Prince George’s own Alex Mackenzie serving as master of ceremonies.

The featured act of the evening is Corner Gas star Brent Butt.

Butt has won four Canadian Comedy Awards, including best male stand-up in 2001, best male TV performance for Corner Gas in 2004 and 2005, and best writing for a TV series for Corner Gas in 2004.

He was also awarded the Comedy Network Sir Peter Ustinov Award at the Banff World Television Festival in 2008.

Corner Gas itself has won Gemini Awards, Canadian Comedy Awards, Directors Guild of Canada Awards and Writers Guild of Canada Awards, in addition to Butt’s various comedy accolades.

Tickets to 30 Years of Laughs will be available starting Friday, with an early bird special running from May 7 to May 19 at $25 per ticket. A four-pack of tickets will also be available, plus service charges.

Regular tickets after the special will be $30, plus service charges.
