Chancey Hall was the winner of the Art Battle presented at Knox Performance Centre Friday night.
Prince George Art Battle saw nine artists go head-to-head in a high-speed, three-round competition to create awe-inspiring artwork in front of a soldout crowd who ultimately crowned the victor of the heart-pounding event presented by the Prince George & District Community Arts Council.
Hall won $500 and the chance to participate in the regional Art Battle competition that will be held in Vancouver later in the summer.
This is the first Art Battle held since the pandemic and artists that participated along with Hall included Carla Joseph, Karen Erickson, Aldea Wood, Kath Valcourt, Diane Levesque, Katherine Johnsen, Rachael Holmes and Melissa Pal.
