Everyone is invited to attend the party that will feature six hours of non-stop cultural entertainment, a community craft fair, ethnic food concessions, children's activities and more.

Barkerville invites everyone to attend its Dominion Day celebrations. Come celebrate Canada's birthday in 1870's style with tug of war, funny face contest, greasy pole climb, children's races and more. For more information visit www.barkerville.ca.

Dominion Day will be celebrated at Huble Homestead in traditional style. There will be pioneer demonstrations like ice cream making.

Enter dad in the pie-eating competition, laugh at the kids as they play old-fashioned games like the egg toss and stay for the Citizenship Court Ceremony at 12:30 p.m. to welcome our newest Canadians.

Dominion Day at Fort St. James Historic Site takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
