Six outstanding performances from the Prince George Speech Arts and Drama Festival have been chosen to compete in the provincial festival in Kamloops June 5 to 9, but, before they go, the winners will showcase their talent Saturday night at 7 p.m. during the Prince George Speech Arts and Drama Festival Honours Performance at the Weldwood Theatre at UNBC.
These are the best of the best in a variety of styles of artistic and theatrical talent.
There will be a variety of performances, include the dramatic intensity of Shakespeare to the lighter side of humour all while listening to the spoken word.
The six Speech Arts delegates are as follows:
Junior Provincial Class: Anika Green, Jessica Chen
Intermediate Provincial Class: Emily MacLise, Micah Green
Senior Provincial Class: Regan McMillan, Erik Leisinger
Admission is by donation.
