Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Prince George area.
As of 10:40 a.m., the agency said current weather conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms.
These storms may bring strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Environment Canada warns that heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significantly reduce visibility. Strong winds may damage trees and buildings or overturn vehicles, while large hail can cause property damage and pose a risk of injury.
