Facebook and Instagram users may have noticed a few glitches on their accounts on Wednesday.
In fact, Facebook users around the world were reporting outages, including being unable to send messages or create new posts. Meanwhile, Instagram users noted that their profiles and feeds were not refreshing.
Facebook took to Twitter stating it was aware of the issues and that it was working to resolve them as quickly as possible, without explaining what the cause of the outages was.
We're focused on working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, but can confirm that the issue is not related to a DDoS attack.
