A woman remains in custody following her second arrest this month on charges related to alleged motor vehicle thefts.

Sandra Michele Ferguson faces one count each of motor vehicle theft, robbery, assault, dangerous driving and breaching a release order from a July 13 arrest, according to court records.

Police have not provided details on that arrest but Ferguson has also been charged with one count each of motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and dangerous driving from an alleged July 2 incident for which police released a statement.

On that one, Ferguson is suspected of hopping into a running vehicle at Parkwood Plaza and taking off, leaving the scene at a high speed and by driving the wrong way out of a mall exit.

Police allege the pickup was seen weaving through traffic while speeding along Highway 16 and then colliding with another vehicle near Queensway Boulevard and Moyie Street, where Ferguson was apprehended.

Court records also show that Ferguson faces counts of motor vehicle theft and assault from an alleged May 3 incident in Cluculz Lake and of breaching a release order from an arrest on July 11 in Prince George.
