Previous political experience:
With my construction business, I learned about customer satisfaction, negotiation, and dealing with any problems that would arise. When working for other companies, as a journeyman carpenter, I would liaison between management and my crew, i.e.) people skills. When I was at the top of my game in carpentry I moved to pipefitting. Working as a pipefitter apprentice, I would work under 18-year-olds who already had a couple years of experience. I know how to lead, how to follow, and how to keep a well functioning crew.
Who is your political hero? Ron Paul
In three sentences or less, what inspired you to enter the election race?
The Liberals and Conservatives have brought Canada to a tipping point. If they form government, we may lose the Canada we grew up in. We now can save Canada if the people see our dire situation, and support us.
What’s the number one local issue at the federal level?
Job loss and the shutting down of our land access.
Beyond Prince George, what’s the number one issue facing Canada?
It’s certainly not a climate emergency, but a governance emergency. Our successive governments have failed to act in the best interests of the Canadian people and have implemented many damaging policies.
What’s the best way for the country to deal with climate change?
Climate changes all the time due to the sun’s activity, our orbit, or water vapour, and man has next-to-zero impact on it. We must rise up and say “no” to all the political hype on the topic, and stop the United Nations (UN) from affecting our economies by using this so-called “emergency” to control us. Micheal Mann who created the famous hockey stick chart, that Al Gore used in his Inconvenient Truth hype piece, recently lost his eight-year-long court case to Tim Ball, a Canadian climatologist. This is because Micheal was not willing to subject his hockey stick chart math to the scrutiny of the court. Math proves itself, why not prove your chart in court? Some scientists find climate computer modelling to be at least seven times overcooked.
What is the biggest issue facing your party’s chance at success?
PPC awareness, since we are a one-year-old political party, yet we should have a candidate in every riding in Canada soon. Once people find us, they love our platform and authenticity. They are worried about splitting the conservative vote, since we are the true conservatives now, and there is nothing conservative about the CPC except the name. Truth is, we are attracting a ton of Liberal, NDP, and disenfranchised voters. Many Liberal seats will be lost in Quebec to the PPC. People need to realize the polls can be inaccurate. Angus Reid recently acknowledged they did not put PPC as a choice in many of their local polls, resulting in a three per cent voter count. A month ago, we saw other polls in Alberta with the PPC at 12 per cent. We are having wild, exponential growth and can form government if people are brave enough to go all-in for a PPC government. Canadians need to realize that the Cons are very pro UN, and will implement the Paris Accord, UN Agenda 2030, UN Global Compact on Refugees, and all manner of UN policies that will decimate Canada in the next 10 years.
Younger voters typically vote less than older voters. How will you engage and encourage young voters to participate in this election?
By skateboarding with them at the skatepark. By letting them know this could be the most important election in Canadian history and they need to participate.
What is your party’s leader’s biggest flaw?
French accent. But, it’s very important that he is from Quebec, as they love him, and elections are won and lost there. He calls himself the Albertan from Quebec and his policies reflect that. That’s why Albertans love him as well, as we should. Go listen to his interviews online.
How will you make sure Prince George continues to be prosperous via federal politics?
By getting Canada out of all manner of UN agreements such as the Paris Accord, Global Compact on Migration, Agenda 2030, etc. By using 92:10 of the constitution to impose pipelines if we have to. The Liberals and Conservatives could have done this decades ago to approve an Energy East Pipeline for national security and prosperity, why not? Instead, eastern Canada is getting its oil from the U.S. and on tankers from as far away as Saudi Arabia. We will do this in an afternoon, by declaring the Energy East pipeline in the “national interest”, giving us authority over every jurisdiction in Canada. We will negotiate with stakeholders first of course, but after a couple of months, if we are stonewalled, we will use our constitution.
Once elected, your job is to represent your entire riding. How do you plan on representing individuals who didn’t vote for you?
By listening to their concerns. I will not know who voted PPC. It doesn't matter anyway. These concerns I can take to Ottawa, and if need be present a private member’s bill. We are a true grassroots party. We will not be subject to a party whip to control our free speech or political decisions.
What informs your political stance? What books, publications, relationships or experiences?
My life-long observation of political events and by living a conservative lifestyle. Everything I own is paid for including my house, and I have never had a mortgage. I don’t follow the herd and think for myself. I am a truth-seeker and pretty good at it.
What local project or service would you advocate for more federal spending?
Most local projects or services are provincial, or municipal, jurisdictions, not federal. Every party is all about spending (borrowing) more and more. The Lib / Cons have created an enormous debt, approximately $700 billion, $80,000 per family of four, and continue to borrow money from private banks to buy votes at the peril of our national security. The Cons have created approximately 40 per cent more debt than the Libs since Pierre Trudeau when adjusted for inflation. The PPC will not bribe you with your own money. Instead, we will lower taxes substantially, to keep your money in your pockets instead of big governments. Tax savings would be approximately $526 on $15,000 income, or $2,163 on $75,000 income., and just gets better from there. Check out our tax platform on our website. We can do this by not wasting billions on corporate welfare, foreign funding, mass immigration, etc.
Was Justin Trudeau’s decision to buy the TransMountain pipeline a good one? Why or why not?
Government is quite incompetent with money as they never seem to balance their budgets. It would not surprise me if they sold it off at a huge loss. We saw this with the Cons, when they sold the nuclear reactors, that cost billions, to SNC Lavalin for a mere $15 million.
What’s your favourite place to go for a quiet cup of coffee?
I don’t drink coffee. It manipulates your body rhythm. I go out in nature to bring peace to my soul.
Who would play you in a film?
I would not act in any film. I threw out the television 35 years ago and don’t like being programmed. I like reality much better.
